About Heidi
I’m a qualified teacher and Psychology graduate, with experience teaching and tutoring students across KS3, GCSE and A-level, in both state and private education. I have also worked as an examiner for psychology A-level.
I’m passionate about making learning feel manageable and enjoyable, helping them to understand not just what the answer is, but why.

Teacher of Biology, Chemistry and Psychology across 4 key stages with an additional specialism in KS3 Maths.
My lessons are tailored to each student, focusing on building secure understanding, filling gaps and developing confidence as well as exam technique. I use a mixture of explanations, retrieval practice and exam questions to ensure students make progress and learn in a way that works for them. My sessions are supportive and focused, with students encouraged to work things out with no pressure.
With the opportunity to tutor you, I can promise a professional yet friendly service, personalised to you. I care about students, and their well-being as well as progress, and aim to maximise both for the best outcomes for the student.

Heidi taught my son for 3 months in advance of his GCSEs. She taught him combined science and really improved his knowledge. She was also very patient and understanding when he struggled with either the subject or being punctual.
