I am a qualified teacher of 25 years experience working in primary and all age special schools, specialising in maths and working with children who find maths difficult and also those with ASD and social emotional and mental health difficulties.

I generally use a mastery approach, using manipulatives and diagrams to support the more abstract concepts of number, and focussing, in blocks of time,on areas of need. I am experienced in finding gaps in knowledge and supporting in areas of weakness, adapting the methodology and approach to the needs of the child. I also provide short teaching videos that pupil can access at all times.
