About Marine
I am a qualified French teacher with over 8 years of experience teaching across different age groups. I am very patient, caring and friendly. I will always endeavour to make you feel at ease in my lessons and content with what you have learnt. I am an experienced teacher and a native speaker of French. I can prepare students for their exams, improve their fluency or teach French from the beginning. I always ensure my lessons have a bit of everything in them, listening, speaking, reading and writing tasks so that you develop all skills over time. I hold a master in linguistics and this passion for grammar enables me to explain grammar points in depth and to compare it with English grammar to clarify any misunderstandings, underlining the similarities or the differences between the two languages. I am able to provide a wide range of educational resources to facilitate students' learning. I pay attention to pronunciation which is key when learning French, providing my pupils with phonics table to get them familiar with pronunciation rules.

Marine is helping a lot with my daughter's GCSE. She helps her understand the grammar and gives her a lot of useful tips and materials to practise in and outside of class. My daughter's pronunciation has improved a lot too. Thank you so much.
