I am Nneka Gaynor, a passionate and vibrant Jamaican teacher of English Language, English Literature, Drama, TEFL and Communication Studies. As an educator, it is my goal to utilise the academic and professional knowledge, skills and international experience gained, to enhance the culture and organisational standard of the school to which I am employed at the highest level. I have ten years of experience in the classroom, including two years as an Assistant Language Teacher, teaching English to high school students in Japan. During my tenure in Japan, I coordinated several projects and workshops to assist students and other teachers with Teaching English as a Foreign Language. My desire is to exercise and put into practice many innovative student-centred approaches to the teaching and learning of English Language. I am a hard-working and dedicated teacher who believes that a task should be completed in its entirety and at its best, while placing emphasis on its timeliness. The best gratification as an educator is to see my students excel in using the English Language accurately in speech and writing.
