About Damaria
I am a qualified Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) teacher specialising in Setswana, with several years of experience teaching secondary-school learners. I am passionate about language education and enjoy helping learners become more confident in their communication and academic abilities.
My teaching experience includes CAPS, IEB and Cambridge curricula, and I currently teach Setswana at secondary-school level. I particularly enjoy helping learners who may struggle with confidence or need additional support to reach their potential.
I am patient, approachable and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that learning a language should be both meaningful and enjoyable.

My Setswana lessons are personalised, supportive and designed around each learner’s individual needs and goals. I am a qualified B.Ed teacher specialising in Setswana, with several years of secondary-school teaching experience. I currently teach Cambridge and IEB Setswana.
I offer online lessons for primary and secondary learners, including IGCSE/Cambridge and IEB students, as well as adults who would like to learn Setswana for communication or cultural purposes.
Lessons can focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, comprehension, writing, speaking and pronunciation. For examination learners, I provide targeted revision, past-paper practice, oral preparation and examination techniques.
I use a learner-centred approach and adapt each lesson to the student’s level, learning style and goals. My aim is not only to improve marks, but also to build confidence and a strong understanding of Setswana.
