About the lesson

I am a qualified primary teacher with a specialism in special educational needs. I have worked in education for a total of 8 years - 6 as a teaching assistant and pastoral worker and the past 2 as a teacher in both mainstream and special needs schools.

I am able to support pupils in becoming independent learners while enabling them to breakthrough their barriers to learning. I am able to differentiate work when too challenging and equally, I am able to challenge those working at a higher ability. I have experience working with pupils from Early Years to Year 8 and am confident I possess a skill-set in order to support those up until Year 11.

I am a friendly tutor who sees the importance of forming a strong working relationship with my pupils. I am able to utilise humour when appropriate and understand the need to be pupil led when they are struggling with the work.
