About Stephanie
Hello, I’m Stephanie, a qualified Primary Teacher with a Bachelor of Education and experience teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
I am passionate about helping children grow in confidence and discover enjoyment in learning. I believe learning should feel meaningful, engaging and purposeful, and I love helping children understand not just how to do something, but why it matters. I aim to inspire curiosity, encourage questions and help children make sense of their learning in a way that feels relevant to them.
I particularly enjoy supporting children with Reading, Writing, English and Phonics, and I bring a calm, patient and encouraging approach to every lesson. My goal is to help each child feel confident in their own abilities, proud of their progress and motivated to keep learning.

I am a qualified Primary Teacher with a Bachelor of Education and experience teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. I specialise in Reading, Writing, English and Phonics, and I also offer support for 11+ preparation.
My approach to tutoring is positive, supportive and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I believe children learn best when they feel relaxed, encouraged and successful, so I work hard to build confidence alongside academic progress. I adapt my teaching to suit each pupil’s learning style, using engaging activities, discussion, reading tasks, games and targeted practice to keep lessons enjoyable and purposeful.
I particularly enjoy helping children develop confidence in reading, comprehension, writing and phonics. I have particular strengths in supporting reluctant readers, building confidence in English, and helping children discover enjoyment in reading and learning. Whether a child needs help catching up, improving fluency, preparing for SATs or 11+, or simply gaining confidence in literacy, lessons are planned around their individual goals and pace.
Online lessons are typically 45–60 minutes depending on the age and needs of the child. Younger pupils often benefit from shorter, interactive sessions, while older children preparing for assessments may prefer longer lessons.
My lessons are for children in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I welcome pupils of all abilities and aim to create a calm, encouraging learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks and celebrating their progress.
