About Anna
I am an enthusiastic piano educator with 16 years of professional experience and a successful record of teaching around 300 students. My learners include teenagers, college students, and adults from various backgrounds.
My philosophy is simple: strong basics lead to strong performance. I focus on developing correct technique through finger exercises, rhythm drills, scales, and coordination practice. I also teach music theory in a clear and practical way so students can apply their knowledge directly to their playing.
Lessons are structured yet flexible. Beginners start with foundational skills and simple melodies, while advanced students work on complex pieces and performance refinement. I also prepare students for stage performances and graded assessments.
Many of my students have demonstrated significant improvement and achieved excellent examination results. My mission is to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong passion for piano in every student I teach.

My approach to teaching piano combines clear communication, creative exploration, flexibility, and disciplined practice. Piano requires patience and focus, so I guide students carefully in building both technique and musical understanding. I demonstrate scales, chords, rhythm patterns, and coordination exercises in a simple and practical way.
Communication helps students understand their progress and areas for improvement. Creativity keeps lessons engaging by allowing students to interpret music with emotion and experiment with simple compositions. Flexibility ensures that lessons are personalised according to age, ability, and goals.
I also guide students in building effective practice routines and time management skills. In addition to piano, I teach theory basics, harmony, and ear development. My aim is to help students become skilled musicians who play with confidence and expression.
