About Chante
Hello and welcome! I am a qualified English tutor with a Bachelor of Education degree and three years of teaching experience. I am passionate about helping learners grow in confidence while developing strong reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. My interest in teaching comes from a genuine love for working with young learners and supporting them as they discover their abilities and reach their academic goals.
I pride myself on being professional, patient, and well-prepared for every lesson. I create a safe, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes — because that is how real learning happens. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s individual needs and pace.
I specialize in working with Grades 4–7 students, whether they need extra academic support, help with schoolwork, or enrichment to strengthen their English skills. Students can expect clear explanations, interactive activities, and consistent encouragement throughout their learning journey.
My goal is not only to improve marks but also to build confidence, independence, and a lasting love for the English language. I look forward to helping you succeed and grow as a learner.

My approach to private tutoring is supportive, structured, and learner-centred. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit each learner’s pace, strengths, and goals. I focus on building confidence while developing strong reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and comprehension skills. What makes me unique is my creative, patient teaching style and my ability to make lessons engaging, practical, and easy to understand while still achieving real academic progress.
I am proficient in English and can provide clear explanations and support for learners who may need extra guidance in understanding English concepts. My lessons include interactive activities, guided practice, real-life examples, and continuous feedback to help students feel motivated and supported.
In a typical lesson, students can expect a warm introduction, clear lesson objectives, engaging learning activities, practice tasks, and a short review to check understanding. I also provide personalised support based on school work, assessments, or specific areas where learners need improvement.
My lessons are aimed at Grades 4–7 learners, including students who need extra academic support, confidence building, language development, or enrichment. I work well with both struggling learners who need patient guidance and students who want to strengthen their English skills further.
