About Emanuele
Hi, I’m Emanuele Perrone, known also as Emanuele Naima. I’m a performer, sound designer, and music producer. My work is rooted in R&B music but I also experiment with many other styles.
In my music career, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with artists such as DJ Gruff, Gianluca Petrella, Filippo Bubbico, Jay Auborn, John Matthias, among others. As a composer and sound designer, I’m currently scoring My Time With Wolves, a documentary film by award-winning director Mattia Cialoni. I have also worked with Elektra, a contemporary dance company, to create the sound design for Trans and I contributed to the soundtrack of The Rope, a video game developed for Sky Glass TV, integrating Dolby Atmos technology. Another relevant project is Playing Memories, a series of artistic residencies led by Saint Louis in Rome, where I participated as a sound designer and performer.
My interest in experimenting with new languages has led me to projects including The Archive of Lost and Future Smells by Cemre Kara, an installation I sound designed for a quadriphonic surround system. Furthermore, I’m currently developing a research titled "Recontextualising Minimalism: Rescoring Synaesthetic Cinema", exploring the relationship between minimalist music and cinema through the practice of rescoring experimental films. Under my stage name, Emanuele Naima, I co-founded the R&B band Puka Shell’s Bling, where I take an active role in songwriting, production, and creative direction alongside with Lauryyn, Anoir Ben Hadj Amara and Filippo Bubbico.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Classical Guitar from the Conservatory Tito Schipa in Lecce, Italy, as well as a Master’s in Music Production and Sound Engineering from dBs Institute in Bristol, UK.

I offer personalised online music production and mixing lessons designed around your artistic goals. My approach combines composition, arrangement and technical production. Rather than only explaining software functions, I focus on sound selection, structure, dynamics, space, and emotional impact. We work directly inside your DAW, analysing your projects and improving them step by step.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and can include:
– DAW workflow and organisation
– Arrangement and track development
– Mixing fundamentals and advanced techniques
– Sound design and creative processing
– Feedback on your original productions
I hold an MA in Music Production and Sound Engineering from dBs Institute in Bristol, and I work professionally as a composer and producer across contemporary music and audiovisual projects. I also completed both a BA and MA in Classical Guitar at an Italian Conservatory, developing a strong foundation in harmony, structure and musical form that I integrate into modern production practice.

Emanuele is definitely a great and trustworthy tutor as I have experienced myself how professional, skilled and patient he is. I have been practicing the guitar for months under his teaching and I haven't just improved. I gained confidence and love for the insteument and motivation to carry on by myself.
Emanuele is a real musician, inspired by the very essence of music he is able to show it to you through his eyes and lead you to interact with it.
A teacher, a friend and a golden heart person.I never managed to learn guitar until I met Emanuele. He is super good tutor and I’m very grateful. Very recommended, he is the best indeed.
He's very skilled and a nice person too. He soon identified what I needed to be a better guitarist.
If you're searching for super good energies and vibes, you are in the right place! He's also very patient. Surely a very good guitarist, and an amazing person
Very good teacher. Thanks to the experience and super great skills he has, he can explain both theory and practice very well, providing great lessons that can adapt to all types of students.
Very good teacher. Super knowledgable and can easily react and adapt his lesson to any question's you may have or directions you want to go. Gives challenging tasks to suit individual ability and teaches in a holistic way in order to develop the student in to a more rounded player. Would highly recommend.
