About Nancy
I am a fully qualified teacher based in Melbourne, with professional teaching experience in both Government and Catholic schools. I completed my Master of Teaching (Secondary) at the University of Melbourne, achieving a High Distinction with a WAM of 89.273/100. I also completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with a score of 40/45.
I have experience teaching Mathematics, English, Humanities, Economics, Sociology and Business Management, including VCE subjects. My classroom experience has given me a strong understanding of different learning needs, the Victorian Curriculum and VCE requirements.
My teaching approach is structured, patient and personalized, with lessons tailored to each student’s individual ability, goals and areas for improvement. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, develop confidence and build the skills needed to become independent and successful learners.
