About Theo
I am a qualified maths teacher and have been teaching the subject for four years. I studied maths and further maths to A level standard, and taught in a Hartlepool school from 2018 to 2021. I have taught KS3 and KS4 and have taught Year 11 classes in their GCSE years so have a detailed knowledge of the maths curriculum and the requirements to achieve desired grades. I currently work as a 1:1 maths tutor in Thornaby.

I teach by modelling mathematical concepts and principals myself, to help you understand the correct methods and how best to approach a mathematical problem. I break down difficult topics using diagrams, number lines, or alternative methods, and teach you how to think logically and join together different strands of maths, not just how to do individual topics.
