About Jamie
I am a qualified Maths teacher with a PGCE and 8 years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with students of different abilities and confidence levels, helping them develop their mathematical understanding and achieve their potential.
I am patient, approachable and passionate about making Maths easier to understand. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Alongside improving results, I particularly enjoy helping students who lack confidence in Maths realise that they are capable of making progress.

I am an experienced Maths teacher with 8 years of teaching experience and a PGCE. I provide friendly, supportive and personalised Maths tuition designed around each student’s individual needs and ability.
My lessons focus on building confidence as well as developing a strong understanding of Maths. I identify areas where students may be struggling, explain concepts clearly and break difficult topics down into manageable steps before using targeted questions and exam-style practice to reinforce their understanding.
I can support students who are looking to catch up, improve their confidence, strengthen particular areas of Maths or work towards achieving the best possible results in their exams.
