About Lucy
I have recently graduated with a Masters degree in Law from the University of York.
I am interested in global development and human rights and one day hope to pursue a career making a change in this area.
I enjoy tutoring and helping students learn new things or achieve their full potential. I try to make the topics enjoyable to keep students interested and productive whilst ensuring that they also have the skills they need to progress.

I choose to teach my students in a way that suits them individually. I understand the importance of maintaining a healthy work - social life balance so I try to keep my lessons fun whilst at the same time productive and informative.
I try not to focus on bombarding my students with tests until they feel comfortable with the subject as testing early on can lead to a lack of motivation. I agree they can be helpful in determining the progression of the student but do not believe they should be relied on as a method of teaching.
