About Nigel
I have been teaching English since 2009. I have a genuine interest in my students and teach adults and children. I have a BA in Education and a TESOL and TEFL certificate. I will be using High speed fibre-optic broadband and I hope to see you soon.
I have a genuine interest in my students and some have stayed in contact with me. I am very proud of having helped them in their goal of learning the English language. Through their hard work and my guidance many of them have gone on to study in foreign Universities, have entered and done well in competitions, also others have found work in the fields of teaching, tourism and business. I care about my students and appreciate their hard work.

What kind of teacher am I?
- Experienced at teaching people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds. I have worked with students from all around the world.
- I have taught in the classroom and online. I wanted/want to help learners just like you.
- I have a university degree in Education, we studied neuroscience, human development, linguistics and the art of teaching which makes me uniquely able to help you in your learning process.
- I speak Chinese Mandarin and I have spoke it for over 8 years so I understand what it's like to learn a other language!
The ability to communicate in a different language is an invaluable skill and I will share my experience and language with you. Our lessons will not be too formal or informal and we will use content that I have created and used to help hundreds of English language learners. At your request, I will provide additional study methods, feedback and additional grammar practice.
My lessons and lesson content includes:
- Enjoyable informal conversation classes where we talk casually and exchange opinions.
- More detailed classes on specific topics such as Family, Schedules, Work, The Environment and Trips.
- Big questions and big topics to make you find and use new words!
- Grammar points explained and practised in class with up-to-date vocabulary used commonly by English speakers.

If you need to reschedule 24 hours before the lesson then no problem. 20 hours before mostly likely but not guaranteed. Please make sure I am online and get the message. Please do not contact me during UK nighttime hours. Anything after 20 hours is a lot more difficult and rescheduling may not be possible. You can count on me to be there and on time. Thank you.
