About Deborina
Hello! I am a qualified and passionate History and Social Science teacher with a B.A. and M.A. in History, along with a B.Ed degree. I have several years of teaching experience with students from Grades 1 to 9, and I specialize in making history and social science relatable, engaging, and easy to understand. With strong communication skills, I create a supportive, friendly, and interactive online learning environment. I tailor each lesson according to the student's level, school syllabus, and personal learning style. My aim is to help students build a strong understanding of historical events, improve their critical thinking, and develop confidence in their academic performance. Whether you're preparing for exams, assignments, or simply wish to explore the fascinating world of history and social studies, I am here to guide you every step of the way.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I personalize each lesson according to the student’s learning style, academic level, and goals. My teaching focuses on simplifying complex historical concepts through storytelling, discussions, visuals, and real-life examples that make history and social science relatable and engaging.
I encourage active participation, critical thinking, and open discussions to help students not only memorize facts but truly understand the subject. I also integrate simple mind maps, timelines, and interactive quizzes to enhance retention and interest.
In online sessions, I use digital resources, presentations, and interactive tools to make learning enjoyable and effective.
The Usual Structure of a Class:
1. Warm-up & Recap (5-10 minutes): Quick review of the previous lesson or a short discussion to activate prior knowledge.
2. Main Lesson (30-40 minutes): Introduction of new topics using clear explanations, examples, and interactive discussions.
3. Application (10-15 minutes): Practice questions, discussions, or short activities to apply the new knowledge.
4. Doubt Clearing & Recap (5-10 minutes): Clarifying any doubts and summarizing key points.
5. Homework/Assignments (optional): Short tasks or reading to reinforce learning between classes.
Each session is well-structured, but also flexible to adapt to the student’s pace and comfort
