About Rowena
I am an experienced English specialist with over sixteen years in education, offering highly personalised tutoring grounded in exceptional subject knowledge and a deep understanding of progression from 11+ entrance examinations through GCSE, A Level and Oxbridge applications. I have led curriculum and assessment at every stage and have been a GCSE examiner for over eight years, giving me precise insight into mark schemes, assessment objectives and what examiners are truly looking for. This allows me to quickly diagnose gaps, misconceptions and barriers to confidence, and tailor learning precisely to each student’s needs.
