About Ryan
English has been a passion of mine since I was very young. I have a comprehensive background in the subject, and hold a Diploma of Higher Education. Whilst it can be a difficult subject, it is also be hugely educational and rewarding to study. My aim is to give students the chance to overcome difficulties the subject poses, and to unlock the potential it has to teach important skills to use later in life. I want students to leave both being able to comfortably interpret and analyse anything they come across, whilst also turning them into critical thinkers!

I like to teach on a highly personal basis. This means identifying what topics a particular student is having difficulty with, and tailoring lessons to suit. I like to focus on ways to make the subject enjoyable to study. Lessons will be engaging and ensure that students are encouraged to think for themselves, with any help they may need being subtly suggested rather than forced upon them. I like to be hands on in terms of being there for any assistance, whilst also encouraging students to realise their own potential and be comfortable working independently when their tuition is over.

Details
Travel costs will only incur for any distance above 20km, this will be £3. 24hr notice required for a lesson cancelation, for example if a lesson is at 2pm on a Friday, it must be cancelled by 2pm Thursday the day before. Otherwise, the lesson must be paid in full. (Allowances may be made in exceptional circumstances)
