About Claire
I am a passionate and enthusiastic Geography teacher who genuinely enjoys helping students develop their understanding of the subject and reach their full potential.
I believe that every student learns differently, and I enjoy getting to know each student’s individual strengths, needs and learning style. My approach is friendly, patient and encouraging, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence.
Geography is a subject I have always been passionate about, and I particularly enjoy helping students connect what they learn in the classroom with the real world around them.
Whether a student needs extra support, wants to improve their results or is aiming for a particular grade, my goal is to help them feel more confident, motivated and prepared for their Geography studies and exams.

I am a qualified post-primary Geography teacher with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and History and a Professional Master of Education (PME), both from Maynooth University. I have several years of experience teaching Geography in the classroom and providing personalised online tuition.
I offer live, one-to-one online Geography lessons for Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students. Each lesson is tailored to the individual student, focusing on their particular needs, ability and areas where they would like additional support.
My teaching approach focuses on helping students genuinely understand Geography rather than simply memorising information. Lessons can cover course content, geographical skills, case studies, exam questions, answer structure and exam technique, depending on the student's needs.
Lessons are typically one hour long and are interactive and supportive, giving students plenty of opportunity to ask questions and work through topics at their own pace.
My aim is to help students strengthen their understanding of Geography, develop effective exam skills and, most importantly, build confidence in their own ability.
