Hello, and welcome!
My name is Peter Chikohomero, and I am a dedicated educator from Cape Town, South Africa, with more than 26 years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with learners from diverse backgrounds, helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to achieve their academic goals.
I specialize in Natural Sciences and Technology, and I am passionate about making learning engaging, meaningful, and accessible. My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that every student can succeed when provided with the right support, encouragement, and learning strategies. I strive to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring new ideas, and developing confidence in their abilities.

I am an experienced educator with more than 26 years of teaching experience, specialising in Natural Sciences, Technology, Mathematics support, and general academic skills development. My lessons are designed to help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding of key concepts, and develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed for long-term success.
My teaching approach is student-centred, supportive, and interactive. I believe that every learner is unique, so I adapt my lessons to suit each student's learning style, pace, strengths, and goals. I focus on creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and actively engaging with the subject matter. I use clear explanations, practical examples, guided practice, and regular feedback to ensure that students fully understand concepts before moving on.
I am proficient in English and can teach all lessons in English. I communicate clearly and patiently, making complex topics easier to understand and more enjoyable to learn.
