About Amita
I am a teacher by profession and have been teaching for the past 17 years. I have great passion for teaching and keen interest in linguistics that is challenging as well as intriguing as one peels the layers hidden in linguistics. Since it poses challenges to students, English is considered a difficult subject while one can speak fluently. I love to peel each layer for the students to make them enjoy learning English.

I use various teaching strategies to teach English linguistics. One (1) hour to two (2) hours tutoring provided per student. I am teaching Fijian and other Pacific Island students on face to face platform and have also tutored Korean students. In addition, I have tutored university students at The University of the South Pacific Fiji for "English for Academic Purposes" unit. Thus, I have students from Year 9 to Year 13 as well as adults from 20years and above.
