About Sofia
I'm Sofia, originally from Argentina and currently based in Abu Dhabi.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Culture Teaching and have spent the last 9 years working in Early Years and Primary education, as well as with adult learners. Teaching has always felt natural to me — I love the moment when something finally clicks for a student, and I take real pride in creating a space where people feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.
Alongside teaching, I've also worked in hospitality and customer-facing roles, which has strengthened my communication skills and my ability to connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish, and I genuinely enjoy helping learners of all ages reach their goals.

My teaching style is student-centred and adapts to how each person learns best, using critical thinking exercises and interactive tasks to keep lessons dynamic and meaningful. Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted depending on your needs.
With over 9 years of teaching experience, I design each session's pace, materials, and activities to the individual — whether that means more visual tasks, structured repetition, or conversation-based practice. I work with both young learners and adults, and as a native-level speaker of English and Spanish, I can also support bilingual students."
