About Adam
I am a graduate of criminology from Edinburgh Napier university. I am an English as a foreign language teacher currently based in Italy but giving lessons online by webcam in my spare time. I have been writing freelance journalism for some time now, as well as academic writing as part of my undergraduate degree and creative writing for fun. I am passionate about teaching writing in particular, but can help with any facet of an English course up to university level.

My teaching methods are entirely based on the specific needs of the student. I am a qualified teacher and thus am completely capable of delivering lessons in any of the English skills. However, it is more than likely that you, the student, have particular struggles or problem areas to overcome. So, my method will be to understand the areas in which you are having trouble and give guidance while going through coursework, past papers or while writing essays - helping you throughout, but showing you how it’s done in the process, so that you won’t need my help for long.
FYI - In complete honesty, my knowledge of the classics is a weakness (Shakespeare, the romantic poets etc) but I can help you with your close reading skills regardless of the text or level of difficulty.
