About Lucas
I am a qualified English and History teacher certified by the Ontario College of Teachers. I hold both a Bachelor of Arts in English and History as well as a Bachelor of Education. I have just recently returned from teaching abroad in London, England for the last two years and am looking to expand my experience in teaching adults.

I like to start my teaching and tutoring with a diagnostic session to identify targeted areas of need for students. Setting specific and reachable goals with students are part of this process. I then prefer to use differentiated methods to suit specific students. This can include anything from lecture based lessons to hands-on creative tasks that work through the stages of Bloom's Taxonomy
