About Lea
I am a qualified teacher- I have a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) which means I am legally authorised to teach. I also have teaching qualifications for teaching the English language and I have worked with kids from 7 years to adults of 80! I love meeting and helping all kinds of people and I feel happy when I know that my student has left the lesson having learnt something new or having just felt more certain or confident about a topic- it's as simple as that!

First and foremost my core belief- anyone can learn English if they want to learn it, are motivated and give it time, be patient, work hard, be kind to yourself. My approach- to find exactly what you need by asking you many questions and getting to know you so that I can help you relax and enjoy the subject by having friendly and fun lessons. I work with you to help you achieve your goals- teaching and learning is a team effort. I started teaching in a secondary school in England in 2005 and since then I have taught in FE and abroad in Italy teaching English as a foreign language. This means I have lots of experience with all kinds of exams- GCSE, AS and A Level and IELTS, Cambridge and Trinity exams for non-native speakers.
