About Zaynah
Hi, my name is Zaynah. I'm a GDC-registered Dental Nurse with around five years of clinical experience and a CAVA-qualified assessor.
Throughout my five years in dental nursing, one of the parts of the job I've enjoyed most has been mentoring and supporting trainee dental nurses. There's something really rewarding about helping someone understand something they've been struggling with and watching their confidence grow.
My own journey to becoming qualified took a little longer than I originally expected, so I understand that everyone's learning journey is different. Sometimes having that extra one-to-one support, patience and encouragement can make a real difference.
That's what I'd now like to offer other trainee dental nurses — a supportive space where they can ask questions, work through the areas they're finding difficult and feel more confident as they work towards becoming qualified.

I offer friendly, supportive 1-to-1 online sessions for trainee dental nurses who would benefit from some extra support alongside their course or apprenticeship.
Whether you're completing the NEBDN Diploma or a dental nursing apprenticeship, our sessions can be tailored around the areas you're struggling with, would like explained in more detail, or simply want to feel more confident in.
I can support you with areas including dental nursing theory, anatomy, charting, instruments and materials, infection prevention and control, HTM 01-05, medical emergencies, portfolio work, reflective accounts, understanding assessor feedback, exam revision and general course support.
How sessions work:
Sessions are online and last 60 minutes.
Before each session, I ask that you send me the topics, questions or areas you'd like support with in advance. This allows me to prepare specifically for your individual needs and ensures we can make the best possible use of our hour together.
My aim isn't simply to give you answers but to help you understand the subject, work through areas you're finding difficult and build your confidence as a dental nurse.
Having worked clinically for around five years and completed my CAVA assessor qualification, I understand both the practical side of dental nursing and the challenges learners can face while working towards their qualification.
You can book sessions according to the availability shown on my calendar. If you'd like ongoing support, you're also welcome to book regular weekly sessions.
