About Kimberley
I qualified as a Civil Engineer from the University of Cape Town in 2014 and worked in the industry for three years. I then went on to work as a game ranger for Phinda Private Game Reserve in order to follow my passion for wildlife. I was soon promote to the position of team mentor which enabled me to structure and oversee the training of new game rangers entering the reserve. I have incorporated teaching into all stages of my life as it is something I truly have a passion for. I tutored throughout my university career and mentored students in both of my career paths.

I require students to send me tests/worksheets/ sections of work that they are finding difficult a few days prior to each lesson. This is the easiest way to identify which concepts are not being understood and develop a personalized lesson and homework based on this information. It also ensures that the student is able to get the most out of each lesson with no time being wasted having to first work out the solution. I recognize that each learner is different and so the pace and teaching methods will vary with each student.

Kimberley is my maths tutor for 1st year maths, and I could not recommend her enough. She is very good at explaining concepts in a way that makes sense and explaining why they work.
