About Jonathan
I am a qualified Chartered Accountant with a 1st class MSci hons degree in Physics with Astronomy. I have 10 years experience working at a big 4 accountancy firm and I am CEO of a media startup business. I have tutored many students to successfully pass multiple stages of the ACA, ACCA and ICAS, as well as degree level accounting and finance. I enjoy solving mathematical problems, experimenting and learning new skills, behavioural economics, and creative writing.

I explain complex problems so that students understand why a rule exists as well as how to apply it. This enables students to apply their knowledge in different exam scenarios much more effectively. I have a very successful track record teaching online using Zoom, and I teach students from A-Level accounting through to the final stages of the Chartered Accountancy qualification.

Jon was instrumental in helping me to pass my most recent ICAS exam, I would recommend him to anyone wishing to pursue any of the major accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA etc!
I highly recommend Jonathan as a tutor. He is very flexible and always available when needed, and he was able to cover all the course content effectively. He prepares clear materials for each lesson and explains topics thoroughly to make sure they are well understood. He also provides exam-style practice questions and works through them step by step, which is extremely helpful for exam preparation.
