About ILENIA
Professional language teacher qualified and with six years' experience in Belgium. I studied modern languages and cultures between the University of Rome 'Sapienza' and 'The Free University of Brussels'. I have taught teenagers in high school (six years), adults in evening classes (five years) and young adults in higher education (one year). Longer experience in tutoring. G’day mates! Feeling bored during this period of forced isolation at home? Why not use some time to finally learn a new language and challenge yourself whilst having some fun? If you are keen to start a new journey through a different culture while comfortably sitting on your couch, you have found the right travel mate for you! I will be glad to help you learn easily and practice amusingly my mother tongue (ITALIAN) or the two other languages I have studied and practiced for a lifetime (FRENCH and ENGLISH). I can provide support for your assessments and IELTS preparation too. I am a passionate, qualified and experienced language teacher. I taught English and Italian for 5 years in French-speaking public schools and have longer experience in tutoring the three languages I master, both for kids and adults. I was born in Italy but have always been drawn to travel, discover and learn. I studied modern languages between the universities of Rome and Brussels. I lived more than 7 years in Belgium. I can speak fluently French, English, Spanish and German. Language learning and teaching are truly my passions. Being multilingual helps me understand the challenge of learning a new code but it also gives me more perspective and, most importantly, different keys of access that I could use to facilitate your learning process. I am very dynamic, creative, cheerful and helpful but also structured and organized. I offer classes completely tailored to your needs with a communicative approach and a solid linguistic foundation.
