About Antonio
My passion for teaching came from having passionate teachers when I was in school, who really cared about what they were teaching and how they were delivering their lessons. Whilst studying Biology at university, I found my main interests lay in science communication. Which encouraged me further to pursue a career in teaching. My passion for communicating science also resulted in me studying a Master's degree in Science Media Production, and I have made two documentary films so far. I love science and love learning, and this is something I hope I can transfer over to you just like my teachers did for me!

Through studying teaching at the University of Oxford, and working as a science teacher afterwards, I have experience planning and delivering lessons with a structure that is engaging and effective. I also trained to become a teacher during the COVID-19 pandemic, so I am used to teaching online and experienced in delivering lessons this way. My personal belief is that loving learning is the most effective way to achieve great results, so I try to make every lesson fun, interesting, and engaging. An average lesson with me would last an hour, but I can be flexible with each student's individual requirements.

Mr Falzarano was a great tutor and helped me through Biology and Maths GCSEs. He was my science teacher in school, then tutored me outside of school. His lessons are always fun and he explains things really clearly!
Antonio tutored me for two years in Biology as I studied for my GCSE. He was an attentive tutor and always made our classes interesting as well as informative! Working with him helped me learn about biology as well as develop strategies for teaching myself/revising further down the line. Because he is a qualified teacher, he knows how to deal with different students' learning styles, and he matched my requirements perfectly, helping me secure a much higher grade than I otherwise would have got.
