About Kelsie
Hi! My name is Kelsie and I am a qualified primary school teacher with qualified teachers status (QTS). I have been a full time class teacher for over 4 years and love inspiring children to learn and create a love for learning to last a lifetime!
I use games, songs and quizzes to help you learn! My lessons are both interactive and engaging so I know that you will enjoy our sessions together. I have taught children from 4 years old to 11 years old (KS1 and KS2).
I specialise in Maths but also teach English, Phonics, Spelling and Grammar and Science.

I believe that learning should be fun and engaging. Therefore, I use a variety of techniques during my lessons such as songs, games and quizzes. I have found that children are more likely to remember what they have learnt if they have fun while learning. My lessons are all an hour long and are structured with a starter/opening question to promote discussion, followed by the main teaching and finished with an appropriate game, quiz etc. I have been a primary class teacher for over four year and a private tutor (both online and in-person) for 3 years.
