About Vatsal
A multi-instrumentalist from Bhilai, India, Vatsal possesses
over a decade of extensive teaching experience, coupled with
an enduring commitment to the field of music education. His
teaching journey commenced in 2012 with a single student in a
modest setting, culminating in the establishment of the Vatsal
School of Music in 2014. Today, this institution encompasses
two thriving branches in Bhilai, with a team of passionate
teachers serving over 200 students locally and extending its
reach to online students worldwide.
Vatsal passed his Grade 8 Rock & Pop guitar exam
from Trinity College London with distinction in 2016 (and
Grade 8 Rock & Pop Vocals in 2020) establishing himself as
the pioneer of western music education in Chhattisgarh state
to offer instructions in Ofqual regulated qualifications. His
passion for Western classical music further motivated him to
study classical (western) piano.
Considering himself a lifelong student of music, seeking
professional development Vatsal went on to earn Level 5
ALCM & Level 6 Licentiate diploma in electric guitar performance from London
College of Music becoming the first person to have Level 5 & 6
qualifications from a UK board in Chhattisgarh state.
Having taught thousands of students over last 12+ years, His
experience spans collaboration with three prominent
examination boards, contributing to the cultivation of a
notable expertise in the domain of teaching and assessment,
characterized by a meticulous attention to detail.
Vatsal also represents Rockschool London in Chhattisgarh
and is currently working on developing a teacher training
program to empower western music educators in central India

In my lessons I cover all the essential elements of instrumental learning - Sight Reading, Ear Training, Improvisation and Composition, all while maintaining enjoyable and accessible repertoire (set of songs) as per students' needs.
I specialize in preparing students for graded music exams. As I've had the privilege of teaching students of all age groups, I understand that each student has different needs and goals, and I use a very adaptive approach to tailor my teaching to meet those unique aspirations.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced musician, my aim is to make learning music enjoyable and accessible while maintaining high standards of music education.
