About Clara
I'm from A Coruña and I lived for several years in Germany, where I studied flute and music pedagogy at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne. I completed my Bachelor of Music with a focus on orchestral performance in 2019, and in 2024 I finished my degree in Instrumental Pedagogy. In addition, I hold a Master's degree in Musical Performance and Research from the International University of Valencia.
For over seven years, I've worked as a music teacher in various schools, giving both individual and group lessons to students of all ages. At the same time, I've developed my career as a freelance flutist, performing in opera productions, symphonic concerts, and chamber music projects.
I'm now based in Valencia and starting to look for students in the city. I'm truly excited to share everything I've learned, support each person in their own journey, and keep passing on my passion for music :)

My teaching approach is very flexible; it depends on how you'd like to structure the lessons, since each person has different needs and goals. Personally, I see music learning as a tool for personal development. In my classes, I strive to find a balance between adapting to each student's individual characteristics and following a demanding yet motivating learning plan. That's why I place great importance on setting goals together, always leaving room for creativity.
Music is a discipline that can help develop many of the most important human qualities: intellect, creativity, social skills, mental focus, physical abilities, emotions... In my lessons, I try to address as many of these aspects as possible, without forgetting the most important one: enjoying the learning process and experiencing music in your own personal way. And, of course, having fun!

Llevo ya 10 años recibiendo clases de flauta travesera y en este tiempo he tenido varias profesoras, pero con Clara he encontrado por fin a mi maestra. Siempre tiene un ejercicio a mano para cualquier dificultad que surja. Son súper sencillos y fáciles de aplicar, y de repente lo que antes me costaba un montón se vuelve mucho más fácil. Clara es una muy buena profesora de flauta travesera. Mi hija (de 10 años) lleva ya dos años tomando clases con ella y ha progresado muchísimo.
