About Aisling
Teaching is something I genuinely love. I take pride in helping students feel confident, capable, and clear in their understanding of English and History. My approach is calm, patient, and encouraging, with a strong focus on practical skills that make a real difference in exams. I believe every student can improve with the right guidance and support. I work to build trust and create lessons that suit each learner’s style, helping them make steady progress and reach their full potential. With many years of experience in the classroom and a Professional Master of Education I bring both expertise and empathy to every lesson.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and goals. Whether you are aiming to improve exam technique, essay structure, or confidence in analysing texts and historical sources, I create a supportive and structured approach that helps you achieve results.
Each lesson focuses on building key skills step by step, from understanding marking schemes and sample answers to developing strong arguments and clear written expression.
Having corrected both Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate English, I bring an insider’s understanding of what examiners look for and how students can maximise their marks.
I provide detailed feedback, practical exam tips, and resources to help students work independently between sessions.
Lessons are available online or in person in the Maynooth area and can be arranged for Junior or Leaving Certificate, Higher or Ordinary Level English and History.
