About Ashwin
Hello, my name is Ashwin and I am a highly skilled and experienced tutor with a passion for helping students succeed. With over 8 years of experience in Chess and Math, I have a deep understanding of the material and am able to effectively teach it to students of all ages and skill levels.
I believe that confidence is key to success, and I strive to instill confidence in my students by providing clear and concise explanations, using a variety of teaching methods, and offering personalized feedback and support.
I am a professional tutor who is dedicated to helping my students achieve their goals. I am reliable, punctual, and committed to providing the highest quality instruction. As a chess tutor, my primary focus is on helping my students improve their chess skills and understanding of the game. To do this, I use various teaching methods and techniques, including interactive lessons, drills, and game analysis.
In a typical lesson, I will start by reviewing any homework assignments or areas of focus that the student has identified. From there, I will introduce new concepts and techniques, using a combination of verbal explanations, visual aids, and hands-on examples. I find that using a variety of teaching methods helps to keep students engaged and helps them to retain the material better.
One of the things that sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to adapt my teaching style to each student's needs and learning style. I understand that not all students learn in the same way, and I strive to find the most effective methods for each of my students.
I am available to tutor students of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Whether you are just starting out with chess and looking to learn the basics, or are an experienced player looking to take your skills to the next level, I am confident that I can help you reach your goals.
In addition to my technical knowledge and teaching skills, I am also a patient and supportive tutor who is able to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
