About Zachary
I am a current Graduate Student at Lenoir-Rhyne University working on my Masters of Music Education! While at LR, I was the front ensemble captain for the "Spirit of LR" Marching Band from 2019-2022. I have also been principal percussionist of the LR Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble for 5 years. I was Assistant Director of the LR Percussion Ensemble as well as Principal Percussionist.
Outside of LR, I was the SSHS Percussion Instructor for the 2021 and 2022 marching seasons as well as the Assistant Band Director for the 2022 season! I have also taught at various summer camps hosted at LR!

I believe that any student who has a willingness to learn how to make music or play an instrument should be able to! I thrive to find a teaching method that works for each student by using different teaching techniques and approaches!
Lessons with me are solely student based, whatever the student wants to learn during the lesson will be taught. I can provide music to be learned during a lesson or music can be brought to a lesson to be looked at!
Lessons are for anyone who wants to play a percussion instrument! There is no level of skill needed to take a lesson!
