About Jayant
Hello everyone! I’m your biology educator, passionate about exploring life sciences with you. Together, we’ll uncover how living organisms function, grow, and evolve through fun, engaging, and insightful learning experiences every day. My goals are; 1. Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants make their own food using sunlight.
Think of it like this:
Sunlight is the plant’s energy source,
️ Carbon dioxide (from the air) is like a main ingredient,
Water (from the roots) is another ingredient.
Using these, the plant’s leaves (which have a green pigment called chlorophyll) act like tiny kitchens and cook up food (sugar) for the plant. While doing this, they also release oxygen into the air — which we breathe!
So, in short:
Plants use sunlight + water + carbon dioxide → to make food + oxygen.
That's photosynthesis — plants making food and helping us breathe.
