I have 15 years of experience teaching dramatic literature and criticism at the university level in the USA and in the UK. I have a BA, MA, and PhD. I very much enjoy helping students to think critically and creatively.

I am highly student focused and I like to develop the student's own ideas. My methodology is Socratic--I ask more questions than I answer. This feels like life to me. There usually aren't easy answers in life or in literature, but literature helps us understand what it is to be a human being.
