About Jane
I am a mature student of Psychology at Portsmouth University. I also studied a foundation year at Portsmouth whereI achieved the highest performing student prize out of over 100 people and I promise to share all of my study tips!!
I took a break from learning after my A levels to travel and ended up teaching English in France with a TEFL certificate. I love teaching and exploring ideas with my students.
I've always wanted to help others so eventually I decided to pursue a career in psychology. I have rediscovered my genuine love for learning and education, pursuing a level 2 in counselling skills and level 1 in boxing coaching alongside my degree. As an athlete, I am passionate about sports, sports science and biology. As a student myself I know about how to reach higher grades and have fun doing so. As a coach I am here for you. We can do this!

Everyone studies and learns differently which is why I love tutoring one-to-one because there is an opportunity to adapt to the individual.
In general I like to review existing knowledge, look at new material and concepts and have a go at applying these new concepts in an AQA style and looking at exam style questions together in a relaxed way. Learning should be fun and not stressful!
One hour lessons (with a short break in the middle) are my preference but I am flexible to the learners needs
