About Ellena
I am a psychology student, a CNPQ scholarship researcher, an artist and I have also worked as a freelance translator, in addition to having offered some lectures in the academic environment, all focused on the theme of the Neurodiversity Movement and inclusion. I really like music (especially Opera, Rock and some others from different musical genres, especially from the 50s to the 90s). I have practiced lyrical singing at the Alberto Nepomuceno Conservatory and general singing at The Biz, in total, I have practiced singing in the following languages: Portuguese, English and Italian, with my first inspiration in this sector being the work "The Phantom of the Opera". In addition, I also like to play the piano, read, study, travel, watch movies/series, research, write stories, fight for justice/social equity and help people, I like to reflect that teaching is one of the noblest ways to achieve the latter. Hello my loves, how are you? This is Ellena but you can call me "Lelê" or "Lê", whatever makes you feel more comfortable! So, I don't think I usually have a "fixed method" of teaching but in general, there tends to be certain doses of creativity, uniqueness, diversity, curiosity, focus on objectives and a "non-standard curve" if you know what I mean lol, I usually use resources that can be read as reinforcements for that person, whether through hobbies, hyperfocus, objects of interest/attachment or others, but we can't spoil the whole surprise, right? (Laughs). To find out more, come with me! It's not always about "not being able to learn" but rather about the teaching method not being adapted to that person and it is our role as educators to adapt it so is may be as accessible as possible, you know? Let's go? We're in this together!
