About Tim
English for me was always my best subject in high school and college. I have had plenty of amazing teachers that helped me learn valuable skills that I use in my daily life. Learning should never be limited to just the classroom, we are always growing and learning. The skills I teach will help facilitate that. You won't be just learning how to memorize notes or how to write an essay that'll get you a high grade. You'll be learning valuable skills including time management, using alarms to get work in and done, as well as learning to communicate effectively. English is one of the most complex subjects in school, but with me you'll get the skills you need to succeed in any English class you take.

As a tutor, I believe learning shouldn't end in the classroom. The students I tutor will learn skills to help both in and outside the classroom through a 1:1 approach of getting to know your student's trouble areas and working on strengthening those areas. My English lessons are designed for grades 9-12 and I will cover a variety of topics and helpful tools and tips, including healthy study habits, how to not just memorize notes, essay structure help, and essay writing tips. Your student will learn not only how to be a successful student, but a successful adult as well. If your student needs a guiding hand through one of the most complex subjects in schools, I'm your person.
