About Brennan
I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Victoria, specializing in the social sciences and supporting high school students. My academic background gives me a strong understanding of human behavior, learning styles, and critical thinking—skills that are essential for helping students truly grasp social science concepts rather than simply memorizing content.
In addition to my degree, I hold MANDT training and First Aid certification, which reflects my commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and respectful learning environment. I bring a calm, patient, and structured approach to tutoring, helping students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.

My teaching style is supportive, structured, and evidence-based. With a background in Psychology and professional experience working as a Behavioural Interventionist I want to teach them how to learn effectively and independently. I specialize in breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and adapting lessons to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals. I have extensive experience supporting students with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and executive functioning challenges, and I use proven behavioural and cognitive strategies to improve focus, motivation, and confidence. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and when progress is clearly measurable.
