About Sagar
"I'm Sagar, a psychology graduate now completing an MSc in Management) Marketing at the University of Bristol. I've always been curious about how people learn, think and grow — something that first drew me to psychology and now shapes how I approach teaching. Over the years, I've supported my own younger siblings through their schoolwork, helping them build both academic skills and confidence. I enjoy working with children because I find their curiosity contagious, and I take real satisfaction in seeing a concept finally 'click' for a student. Outside of my studies, I'm active in student life at Bristol, including recently running for International Student Officer at the Students' Union. I'm reliable, patient and genuinely invested in helping each student succeed, not just academically but in building confidence they can carry forward."

My approach blends patience with psychology-based insight into how children learn best, adapting each lesson to the student's pace, confidence and interests rather than a one-size-fits-all method. Lessons are interactive and encouraging, mixing explanation with practice questions to build genuine understanding rather than memorisation. I typically structure sessions around 60 minutes, with short breaks for younger children to keep focus and energy up. My background includes a psychology degree from the University of Pune, currently completing an MSc in Marketing at the University of Bristol, along with hands-on experience helping my own younger siblings through their schoolwork over several years. I tutor children across primary and secondary levels, in all core subjects, focusing on building confidence as much as academic skills."
