About Ruby
My name is Ruby. I am 22 years old and am from East London.
I have recently graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in Psychology (BSc). This course gave me an understanding of human behaviour and the way we learn and acquire new skills during childhood and adulthood, an insight which I believe serves me well when teaching my students.
I taught English to children in Spain for one year. Their age and English-speaking abilities varied dramatically meaning I had to adopt a different approach with each individual student, something which has provided me with the communication skills to teach individuals ranging in education level.

Ensuring comprehension is central to my teaching. I consistently check that my students grasp what I'm explaining and am always willing to recap and repeat if anyone feels unsure.
The length of a lesson is up to you! I aim to fit your studying around your schedule. Lessons can go up to 90 mins.
I have one year experience teaching English as a foreign language to 5-11 year olds in Madrid so am well equipped when working with younger students.
I can teach up to A level in Maths and Psychology and up to GCSE in Spanish.
