About Kate
With a Master’s in Psychology, two years of midwifery training, and a background in early years education, I bring both expertise and empathy to every session. I’m a qualified hypnobirthing instructor and a former nanny with over a decade of experience supporting families. My teaching approach is calm, non-judgemental and evidence-based. Whether you're preparing for birth or navigating toddlerhood, I’ll help you understand your child’s brain and behaviour so you can parent with confidence, connection and clarity. All sessions are tailored to your needs—whether you’re a first-time parent, supporting a toddler through big feelings, or simply curious about early development. You’ll leave feeling informed, empowered, and supported every step of the way.

My sessions blend psychology, early years development, and birth education to support parents in understanding their child’s needs from bump to toddlerhood. I use real-life examples, neuroscience, and compassionate discussion to make learning engaging and reassuring. Lessons typically last 60–90 minutes and are tailored to suit expectant parents or caregivers of children aged 0–5. I’ve studied psychology at master's level, trained as a midwife for two years, and qualified as a hypnobirthing instructor. I also draw from years of hands-on experience in parenting, education, and child development. Whether you're preparing for birth, learning about baby brain development, or struggling with toddler behaviour, my sessions are designed to leave you feeling confident, informed and supported.
