About Jeremy
As a former IGCSE and IBDP student, I have firsthand experience with the challenges and rewards of these rigorous curricula. I achieved top grades across key subjects, including A*s in Physics (0625), Additional Mathematics (0606), and Extended Mathematics (0580) for IGCSE, as well as a 6 in Mathematics Analysis and Approaches Higher Level (HL) for IBDP. Having gone through the process myself, I understand exactly what it takes to succeed in these courses. My familiarity with the curriculum will mean that I can guide students effectively and help them achieve their full potential. Whether you're struggling with specific concepts or looking to elevate your performance to the next level, I am confident in my ability to provide the support and strategies needed for success. I have previously worked as part of my school’s Peer Mentors Programme, tutoring Maths and Physics for two terms. My approach focuses on fostering a deep understanding of concepts through various visualisation techniques (or experimentation for Physics). I believe in guiding students to comprehend the material at a fundamental level, rather than relying on memorisation or repetitive practice. My lessons typically cover (I)GCSE-level Maths and Physics, with sessions lasting between 60 to 90 minutes.
