About Ruth
I am a student at the University of Oxford entering my final year studying Psychology and Linguistics. I am passionate about ensuring that all students can enjoy and excel in school, especially in my favourite subjects! I achieved an A* in A-Level Psychology and have obtained first-class marks in many of my Psychology papers in university. As well as being well-educated in this subject, I love supporting young people in their learning, while challenging them to do the best they can!

I have been freelance tutoring for almost four years, both 1:1 and in groups. I love to personalise my lessons to each student's needs, interests, and goals. In my degree, I have excelled in a variety of areas of Psychology, ranging from social psychology to cognitive to neuroscience. A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes and will incorporate evidence-based methods such as active recall to support learning. I have worked with students of a variety of ages and abilities, and am confident in my ability to provide flexible, effective support for every client!
