About Craig
My name is Craig Miles, and I am passionate about helping young people develop the knowledge and confidence they need to make informed financial decisions. Throughout my career, I have worked in roles that required strong numerical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to communicate information clearly to a wide range of people. These experiences have shown me how important financial understanding is in everyday life and how many young people leave education without the practical money skills they need.
I want to teach financial literacy because I believe it is one of the most valuable life skills a young person can learn. Understanding budgeting, saving, borrowing, payslips, taxes, and financial planning can have a significant impact on an individual’s future opportunities and wellbeing. Through engaging and practical workshops, I aim to bridge the gap between classroom mathematics and real-world financial decisions, helping learners understand how money works in everyday life.
My ambition is to educate the next generation and make a lasting impact within education by providing young people with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to manage their finances effectively. I want learners to leave my sessions feeling empowered to make informed choices, avoid common financial pitfalls, and build positive financial habits that will benefit them throughout their lives. By combining financial literacy with practical mathematical skills, I hope to inspire greater confidence, independence, and future success for the young people I work with.
