About Claudius
I am a motivated and approachable university student with a strong background in mathematics and statistics. I enjoy helping others understand challenging concepts and believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance and support.
Throughout secondary school, I consistently achieved high results in mathematics and statistics while developing strong communication and leadership skills through my involvement in the New Zealand Cadet Forces. These experiences taught me how to explain ideas clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a positive, encouraging environment.
My goal as a tutor is to build students' confidence as well as their understanding. I focus on breaking down complex problems into simple, manageable steps and encouraging students to think critically rather than simply memorizing methods. Whether you need help preparing for assessments, improving your grades, or strengthening your mathematical foundations, I am committed to helping you achieve your goals.

I have extensive experience with teaching and tutoring 12-16 year old students and I have a very flexible tutoring schedule and time length but would be around an hour by default. I have passed both level 1 and 2 math with merit subject endorsements.
