Module 1: The Agile Mindset & UK Business Standards
Before touching the software, we align your academic knowledge with industry reality.
Agile vs. Waterfall in the UK Market: Why UK firms are moving towards "Hybrid" models.
The Scrum & Kanban Frameworks: Understanding roles (Product Owner, Scrum Master) in a business context.
Lean Thinking: How to eliminate waste in digital delivery.
Module 2: Mastering Jira Architecture
We move into the "Engine Room." I teach you Jira not just as a user, but as an Administrator.
Project Hierarchy: Setting up Epics, Stories, and Sub-tasks that actually make sense for a business case.
Workflow Design: Creating custom transitions (e.g., "In Review," "Awaiting Client") that reflect a real-world business process.
The Power of JQL: Learning Jira Query Language to find data instantly—a skill that sets you apart from 90% of other applicants.
Module 3: AI-Driven Delivery (Atlassian Intelligence)
This is the most modern part of the curriculum, focusing on how AI is changing project management.
Atlassian Rovo & AI: Using AI to summarise long comment threads, generate project updates, and search across company wikis.
Automation Engines: Setting up "If/Then" rules (e.g., "If a task is stuck in 'Testing' for 3 days, alert the Manager") to keep projects on track without manual effort.
Module 4: Reporting & Stakeholder Management
Business managers don't just "do" work; they report on it.
Dashboards that Tell a Story: Creating visual gadgets for stakeholders who don't want to see the "messy" details.
Velocity & Burndown Charts: Learning how to predict if a project will actually hit its deadline.
Confluence Integration: Linking your Jira data to high-level strategy pages and project charters.

I have had the opportunity to work closely with Sukanya in a Computer Science and project‑based learning context, and I confidently recommend her as a highly capable and reliable instructor. Sukanya has a strong practical approach to teaching, combining core computer science concepts with real‑world tools such as JIRA for work tracking, Excel for data analysis, and Power BI for reporting and visual insights. She explains Agile principles clearly and demonstrates how they are applied in real projects, helping students understand not just theory but industry‑ready practices. Sukanya is patient, well‑structured, and highly organized, ensuring students gain confidence as they learn. Her ability to break down complex topics into simple, actionable steps makes her an excellent mentor for students looking to build both technical skills and professional working habits.
I had a great learning experience with Sukanya, who brings a very practical and structured approach to teaching. She explains concepts clearly and patiently, and focuses on real‑world use cases rather than just theory. Whether it’s Jira administration, Excel with AI, or Power BI, Sukanya takes the time to understand specific needs and tailor the sessions accordingly. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for hands‑on, job‑ready guidance.
